When I coach sprinters, we spend a great deal of time working on starts. Those first few steps out of the blocks can make all the difference in the race! The same goes for your daily sprint! The first few steps can make all the difference! If you will do these 2 things at the start of each day, you will see a huge change in your physical and spiritual fitness levels!
1. Start With A Great Breakfast! You must kick start that metabolism! Your breakfast should be balanced with equal amounts of protein and carbs.! A balanced breakfast is not an option; It's a must!
2. Start with a few quiet minutes ALONE with GOD! Your spiritual metabolism needs a boost from The Creator of the Universe! Don't waste this time asking for things. Just allow yourself to be aware of God and His Love, His Grace, and His desire for you to have a purposeful day. Even if you start out with as little as 2 minutes, it will change your day! Like breakfast, kick starting your spiritual metabolism is not an option, it's a must!
